Decorative security walls and double entrance doors welcome friends safely to our offices. Located logically in front of the sanctuary, the Gordon Administrative Offices also offer easy access to the parking lot.
Centered in the office is a reception area. Private offices to one side can be locked at night for evening meetings. The stained glass over the receptionist’s desk, donated by Rita Malkin, is from the Emerson Avenue facility. And except for the Rabbi’s furniture, which is also from Emerson Avenue, every office has been appointed new furniture and fixtures.
The Douglas Unger Rabbi's Study is where our Rabbi is found when he is not visiting the religious school or meeting with congregants or staff.
There is a sun-like pattern in the artwork in the Polis Lobby. It has 18 Shofars extending out with a Hebrew saying on it that says, “God redeems the soul of his servants”, Podeh Adonai nefesh
avodav, Psalm 34:23. The 18 is for Life, Chai, and the jewel at the center is red to represent the pomegranate.
